Dear God,

I arise today
Through your mighty strength:

Your power to guide me,
Your might to uphold me,
Your eyes to watch over me;
Your ear to hear me,
Your word to give me speech,
Your hand to guard me,
Your way to lie before me,
Your shield to shelter me,
Your host to secure me.
