May There Always Be
Dear God,
May there always be work for my hands to do.
May my purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine upon my window pane.
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near, and
May you fill my heart with gladness and cheer.
